Samsung's YP-S2 pebble skips out in Korea

They are here. Samsung's satisfyingly bulbous S2 "pebble" MP3 player was just released in S.Korea. DNSe audio processing, five colors, and MP3, WMA, and OGG support now yours in 1GB ₩49,000 (about $54) or 2GB for ₩59,000 (about $65) models. Neato.

Computex 2008：微軟攤位讓人微軟

是的，你沒看錯，微軟攤位出現AMD的SG，因為AMD幫微軟的Windows Home Server背書，所以現場會有AMD的SG幫忙發傳單（有種微軟偷偷搞外遇的感覺）

回到正題，Annti環顧微軟攤位，只看到「滿坑滿谷」的聰明手機，以及使用微軟平台的硬體，只是，似乎看不到新東西的說，讓Annti實在興奮不起來....

Apart from the lovely showgirl, it was quite disappointing. Looking around there are loads of smart phones, and hardwares running on Microsoft platform. It was remotely exciting when everything looked so familiar...

You might have a look at all the smart phones if you are interested. Guess all we could do is to take all the pictures and have a smart phone quiz contest.

Computex 2008：飛利浦建興多款燒錄機推出

飛利浦建興（PLDS）在現場展出多款燒錄機，有的是已經上市，有的是即將上市。其中還有一款USB供電外接式的薄型DVD燒錄機（真的要哭了，前天才買一款3.5吋外接式的光碟機，真是超級麻煩）。

Philips-Liteon presents several new DVD burners at Computex. There is a super slim external 8X DVD-RW that caught our eyes. It takes power from only one USB port, and it even comes in 2 different flavors, pearl white and dark red. Other cool products include a 6X Blue Ray DVD-Combo drive and a 22X DVD-RW.

微軟在D6讓大家一窺Windows 7

今年的D6中，我們的老朋友Bill Gates和Steve Ballmer終於拿出了壓箱寶Windows 7的「一小塊」出來讓大家聞聞香。說實在的，以一個至少三年以後才會推出的OS來說實在早了點，不過在廣大用戶的壓力下不這樣做恐怕是平息不了眾怒的。在這次展示中，我們最大的驚訝就是由Surface團隊所支援的原生多重觸控界面，以及稍微改進的工作列。有趣的是這次展示是使用Dell的Latitude XT這台Tablet PC，所以我們也有機會「改出」這樣的機器囉？當然，他們在這三年裡還會繼續摸索更棒的多重觸控界面（以及其他更多的功能），我們就先別催他們了，跳轉看影片比較重要！

LaCie doubles external d2 Blu-ray burn times to 4x

Not like 4x Blu-ray burners are anything special, but if you've got a special place in your heart for anything designed by Neil Poulton, this one's for you. LaCie has just announced that it's doubling the burn speed of its tried-and-true d2 external writer, enabling owners to toast BD-Rs at 4x. It'll also handle BD-REs (2x), DVD±RW DLs and CD±RWs, and it can interface with your computer via USB 2.0 or FireWire 400. The pain? $649.99 -- and that's before you go shopping for optical media.

NICE推出新樣車，Liberty計劃推出電力版Range Rover

這 是個超酷的年代，所推出的產品要有足夠的吸引力才能擁有用戶。這款車就展示了奇特的剪刀門概念車（這款車型將在倫敦國際車展展出）；當然，這 也是個最壞的年代，油價屢創新高使得很多擁有車的人苦不堪言，在幾年前電力車還屬於概念車範疇，現在已經不是所謂的概念，消費者真正可以買到了， Liberty'公司將帶來電力版的Range Rover，車型將在斥資約6000萬美金的生產基地裡面生產，最後車型的價格將會在18萬美金到25萬美金之間。

同時No Internal Combustion Engine（NICE）也打算在七月的倫敦車展上帶來電力版的跑車，雖然到時候看到的只是工程樣車，但是將很大程度上是將來的量產車型，我們拭目以待！

以 Panasonic EVOLTA 電池為動力的機器人成功攀爬大峽谷！

Panasonic 幾乎可以說毫無疑問的是為電池打廣告的教主了。和某些拿免子做「相對性比較」廣告的牌子不同，Panasonic 從車子到飛機到賽車，再到今天的小機器人，每一個都是相當令人瞠目結舌的 PR 演出。和之前強調爆發力的 Oxyride 系列電池不同，EVOLTA 系列強調的是耐久度，因此 Panasonic 做了一隻 7"（約18 公分）高的小機器人，並讓它在大峽谷裡沿著繩子垂直向上爬了1700 英尺（530 公尺，比台北 101 略高一些）。當然，有些人拿出計算機來就會算出其實這並不是什麼特別了不起的事，但還是不得不對 Panasonic 的廣告部門說聲佩服啊...

不知道它跟兔子比的話，誰爬得比較高？
