Edamame cell phone strap

I pretty much hate to eat anything healthy so I attribute my love of edamame to the fun of popping out the little beans from the pod. There's something soothing and satisfying about it. So of course there is a Japanese-made cell phone strap that lets you somewhat replicate the experience while being both bizarre and adorable. The little soybeans have different expressions, like emoticons, for extra weirdness.

As most US-branded cell phones don't have the requisite hook for cell phone straps, you can use the edamame as a keychain instead. The edamame keychain is $15 from Dynamism.

當矽谷遇上那帕酒莊...

當同在加州的矽谷( Silicon Valley )與那帕酒莊( Napa Valley )撞在一起時，究竟會碰出什麼樣的火花呢？答案或許就是這個：軟木酒塞 USB 隨身碟。

這個由 Anwye Wan 所設計的隨身碟，外觀就和真正的軟木塞一模一樣，甚至還在底部做出長久浸泡所留下痕跡。只可惜它也就只是長的相像而已，並不能一物兩用真將它拿來當做酒塞使用。

Sony intros red PS2 and metallic blue PSP for Japan

Proving once again that old gadgets die hard (some, at least) Sony Japan is introducing fancy new paint jobs for two of its oldest -- and most successful -- products. Come July 3rd, the venerable PS2 will be hitting shelves with a new job, a new outlook on life, and a "red cinnabar" paint job. The refreshed system will run you about ¥16,000 (or around $153). Meanwhile, that metallic blue PSP we've seen is making its way to Japanese gamers on July 17th, sans Madden '09, for ¥23,800 (or $227) for the Value Pack, or ¥29,800 (or $284) for the a decked out bundle including a 1seg tuner, 1GB Memory Stick, and handsome matching carrying case. Samsung's YP-S2 pebble skips out in Korea

They are here. Samsung's satisfyingly bulbous S2 "pebble" MP3 player was just released in S.Korea. DNSe audio processing, five colors, and MP3, WMA, and OGG support now yours in 1GB ₩49,000 (about $54) or 2GB for ₩59,000 (about $65) models. Neato.

Computex 2008：微軟攤位讓人微軟

是的，你沒看錯，微軟攤位出現AMD的SG，因為AMD幫微軟的Windows Home Server背書，所以現場會有AMD的SG幫忙發傳單（有種微軟偷偷搞外遇的感覺）

回到正題，Annti環顧微軟攤位，只看到「滿坑滿谷」的聰明手機，以及使用微軟平台的硬體，只是，似乎看不到新東西的說，讓Annti實在興奮不起來....

Easy, easy, we did not put on the wrong picture. Nor is your eyes betraying you. The showgirl in AMD uniform is helping Microsoft promote their products because AMD has officially backed Windows Home Server up.

Apart from the lovely showgirl, it was quite disappointing. Looking around there are loads of smart phones, and hardwares running on Microsoft platform. It was remotely exciting when everything looked so familiar...

You might have a look at all the smart phones if you are interested. Guess all we could do is to take all the pictures and have a smart phone quiz contest.

Computex 2008：飛利浦建興多款燒錄機推出

飛利浦建興（PLDS）在現場展出多款燒錄機，有的是已經上市，有的是即將上市。其中還有一款USB供電外接式的薄型DVD燒錄機（真的要哭了，前天才買一款3.5吋外接式的光碟機，真是超級麻煩）。

Philips-Liteon presents several new DVD burners at Computex. There is a super slim external 8X DVD-RW that caught our eyes. It takes power from only one USB port, and it even comes in 2 different flavors, pearl white and dark red. Other cool products include a 6X Blue Ray DVD-Combo drive and a 22X DVD-RW.

微軟在D6讓大家一窺Windows 7

今年的D6中，我們的老朋友Bill Gates和Steve Ballmer終於拿出了壓箱寶Windows 7的「一小塊」出來讓大家聞聞香。說實在的，以一個至少三年以後才會推出的OS來說實在早了點，不過在廣大用戶的壓力下不這樣做恐怕是平息不了眾怒的。在這次展示中，我們最大的驚訝就是由Surface團隊所支援的原生多重觸控界面，以及稍微改進的工作列。有趣的是這次展示是使用Dell的Latitude XT這台Tablet PC，所以我們也有機會「改出」這樣的機器囉？當然，他們在這三年裡還會繼續摸索更棒的多重觸控界面（以及其他更多的功能），我們就先別催他們了，跳轉看影片比較重要！
