ASUS Eee Box B202 reviewed, smiled upon

So, can a $299 mini desktop really find a place in your jaded heart? Based on a recent review by HotHardware, the answer is a resounding "yes." In terms of general performance, the box delivered more potency than critics expected, and the hardware within was able to provide a "a fluid experience in all but the full 1080p digital video playback test." Of note, it didn't have any trouble churning through a 720p clip, so there's still hope for folks obsessed with flipping through HD trailers for hours on end. Furthermore, the unit was found to be remarkably energy efficient, with only "a slightly heavier draw than an Eee PC 900." Of course, we wouldn't expect this to replace your Alienware or anything, but for the most average of tasks, the B202 should be adequate enough. Hit the read link for the full rundown.

我只能說這idea真屌，設計這麼「小」的「可攜式沙發」，能夠很舒服地讓三、四個人來坐。不用的時候，可以合起來變成金屬箱子以利於移動。體積 35 x 60 x 195 cm，重量只有「50公斤」。要價2700美元，約八萬一。

木製手機Maple Phone

手機如果要比貴的話，我想這支不遑多讓。這是由African Blackwood（非洲黑木？）所製成。在商業木材市場上，African Blackwood的價位是很驚人的（科科，這要由懂得木材行情的朋友來解說了）

這款手機的功能看起來與我們一般見到的差不多，強調具備數位相機、MP3功能。看起來應該還是貴在外型設計與材質，拿起來應該很炫（實在有點難想像光透木頭的樣子），體積4.5 x 10.4 x 9.8 cm，採用觸控式按鍵。

Xbox 360拚了，9月7日將有一波降幅

之前雖然有聽說Xbox 360將會在九月降價，不過沒圖沒真相，聽聽就好。不過這次的圖也未免太驚人了吧，直接就拍到倉管系統的圖，可以看得出來，在九月7日，微軟Xbox 360 Arcade版本（無硬碟），將會降到199美元。不過，並沒有提到其他版本的資訊。所以，之前所提到的：Pro (60GB) 版本是不是299美元，Elite (120GB) 版本是不是399美元呢？也許機會很高吧，畢竟199元版本被驗證了。

Iris van Herpen had her third show at the Amsterdam International Fashion Week.

Even though van Herpen has had only two collections prior, all have had an avant-garde look and futuristic detailing in the couture.

Refinery Smoke is her collection for Spring 2009. She loves the look of a refinery at night: the complicated lines and structural complexity. Then there are the giant clouds of emissions that look soft, but are in fact sometimes dangerous.

She dreams big, asking “is there a time when clothing is unnecessary and we can wear something intangible such as smoke?”
